Re: '95 vs '97 Power Distribution Center

Nice spam, quoting and modifying the quote... Reported of course.

May want to consider updating the spambot countermeasures.

Spare Clutch Cable for Quick Test?

Anyone around the area have a spare clutch cable I could use to test my clutch? I had a cable snap back in February and bought a new Mopar unit off Amazon. It was fine for the first week or so, but as it warmed up the clutch started dragging more and more. Today I went out and pulled the end out of ...

Re: FS: 1997 SOHC Red 4dr Wolverine Lake

Replacement rear bumper cover, paint peeling on the trunk. No known rust in this area except on the quarter pictured next http://www.tairisnadur.com/themi/97neon/IMG_1567.JPG This is where the rear bumper cover cannot be attached anymore. That rust is ready to pull right apart. http://www.tairisnadu...

Re: FS: 1997 SOHC Red 4dr Wolverine Lake

Car is still here. I will be jacking it up and taking wheels off to knock the brakes loose so it'll roll, but otherwise yes it has 4 wheels and will roll once the brakes let go. Wife took pictures yesterday, she's looking for the camera so we can post them.

FS: 1997 SOHC Red 4dr Wolverine Lake

------------- Name: Jason Parker Location: Wolverine Lake, MI 48390 Contact info: 248-670-4248 -------------- To be clear, this isn't good for much more than parts. And it MUST go this weekend. I'd rather the Neon community get it for parts than donate it. Either way, the car absolutely has to go un...

Re: Parting out 1997 Neon 2 Door SOHC

What are the plans for the shell? What condition is it in? I am current in search of a clean shell to replace my '95 shell with. The '95 recently got estimated north of $7000 to repair all the rust :(

Re: Replacing Intake Manifold...

This job is done. The sensor threads weren't shot, the manifold had cracked from the side of the sensor hole to the outside of the water passage. But, all went surprisingly well with the swap. I discovered that not only had the exhaust been off the car before as I did when installing the head...

Re: Replacing Intake Manifold...

Both the one being replaced and the replacement are from a DOHC. I already know about combining the sensor wires on the 95 harness.

Replacing Intake Manifold...

... are there any "gotchas" I should look out for? I went and f'd up the threads for my coolant temp sensor, and I know that is essentially not repairable. Fortunately I have a spare manifold from a later year, and I plan to do the wiring harness mod to swap to the single combined sensor. What I'm c...

Re: Greenhouse rally neon random pics

It was a thinly disguised spam post. I reported it when I first saw it. The text actually has nothing to do with this thread.

'95 vs '97 Power Distribution Center

Just wanted to post my findings in case anyone else was curious or didn't already know. Internally the PDCs are interchangeable. The missing pins for the Fan relay that a '95 should have are part of the '95's wiring harness, and snap right into place on a '97 PDC. I recently swapped my '97 PDC into ...

Re: Spam.. ugh

Was the site using reCaptcha before? Not only has regular Captcha been defeated for a long time, Google's reCaptcha was cracked a year or so ago. Google denies it, but all the sites I had reCaptcha on started getting spam bots at the beginning of this year. I had to switch my phpBB forums to the Que...
